Hated

"my husband hates me..."

We have been praying for you. First and foremost, we are sooo glad that you wrote to us!!  Thank you for telling us how you feel.

Ask the Lord God to have your husband repent. God says that husbands who do not treat their wives Biblically will have their prayers hindered: "Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers." 1 Peter 3:7

Husbands are like that sometimes.  Some husbands do not know that their job is to do as God commands, >>

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the Word, and to present her to Himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:25-33

Many husbands do not know with their minds or their hearts that God loves them personally with an Everlasting Love.  Wives are often ignored by their husbands because their husbands do not love themselves either and tend to ignore their own needs.  Consequently some husbands take out their own pains and frustrations on their wives, which God says never to do.  (An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins. Proverbs 29:22, & Proverbs 22:24-25)

The blessing is that if a wife has a husband who does not do his job in loving her as God has commanded him to do, then she has a far better husband already in the One True Living God.  God says, “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling.”  Psalm 68:5    A loose translation would be that if a woman has an inattentive husband, then she is like a widow. God assumes that responsibility of the husband for the widow.  If you are born of Jesus, saved by His Blood, then the Bible says, “I promised you as a pure bride to one husband—Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2, Revelation 22:17.  God is the best friend anyone can have!!!

There is a HOPE that is sure. It is based on God's promises which are never broken.  It is based on a Truth that withstands all time, all circumstances, and all possibilities.  This Hope is from God alone. God’s Love defeats Fear . God says, "Come to Me..."  God has come to give you and me a Living Hope  and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit Do you want to HEAR about God.  Are you Broken Hearted?  God wants you to Cast your Cares on Him and leave them with God. Do you feel dirty, the God can clean your heart, no matter where you are.  Only God can fix problems and heal His people, too!

"can't I have children"

God may have intended that since your husband is not good to you, but not necessarily. You may want to read about Hannah, who was also unable to have children.

Please read this carefully:  How one person treats you, even if he is your husband, is NOT a reflection of who you are or how you should be treated.  You must look upward toward God and read His love letter for you, His Word, the Bible for your words of comfort, healing for your heart, and direction on how to live out your life in the best way.  God will and does give a Living Hope, and He sustains us who cry out to him day and night in our pain. It is important to listen to God’s thoughts in your head, which are better than your own, and to do what He says, to obey His  Word regarding living for His glory and purpose.  God never says to be a doormat under anyone’s feet, and God never treats anyone badly or unjustly.

Please do not give up, for God has not given up on you!!!  He wants you sooo desperately to come to Him and allow Him to love you just as you are.  Speak with Him (Pray!) directly, cry out to Him, and respond to Him out of His Own Power through you.

We will continue to pray for God to intervene.

a quick Word of encouragement

God’s Word is True.  Take it literally and live by it.

Watch God DO what He says He will do.  Look for His Glory in your circumstances, His Benefits that surpass all your understanding.  God’s “Coincidences” prove He is involved in your life and other people’s too.
