I am saved but not baptized, I just recently dedicated myself back to the Lord. Before I got saved I went to church but I was hanging around with the wrong crowd. We went to a baseball game with our church and a special speaker was there. He spoke at the end of the game. He said the sinner’s prayer. I felt as though I didn't need to say it because I already went to church and I was fine the way I was, but I wasn't I was emotionally disconnected from everything. He said if we needed to go up there and we were afraid then we should bring somebody with you. I didn't go up. He said it says in the Bible, "If you deny Me before men, I will deny you before my Father". I still didn't go up. A couple of weeks later David Soesbee came to my church and at the end of the service he said the sinner’s prayer. I felt God talking to me and tugging on my heart. I said the prayer. He said every head bowed and every eyes closed, if u said the prayer raise your hand so i did. He said if u said the prayer look up at me. I looked at him and he asked me, "Did you mean it?" I said yes. Then he said you can if you want to you can come up during invitation time. He said,"If you deny Me before men I will deny you before my Father". I didn't go up. After the service my dad saw me raise my hand and asked me why didn't I go up. I said I said the prayer so many times I didn't mean it. He brought me to David and we talked about what would have happened if I never said the prayer. At the evening service I went up and told every body what I did. They were so happy for me. So if there is any body out there don't be afraid to go up if he is speaking to u. Nobody is going to put u down for what u did they are going to love u for it. And u just received the greatest gift of all Jesus Christ. God bless everyone. Amy, Kernersville, North Carolina, America, Saturday, January 06, 2007
