The Way #1

Definition # 1 - the Way -

A specific method, plan, or means for attaining a goal.

What is the goal of life? To be sure you have a good life after you die. To have a good afterlife you can depend on, which is certain, permanent, and Guaranteed

What good is a pleasure-centered life if you suffer forever and ever after you die?

What good is a life spent trying to achieve heaven when God says your best days are never good enough to meet God’s standards and you can never achieve heaven on your own?  (Romans 3:10-26 - Your Religion? - My Religion? - More Religions?

Spiritually, Biblically, and in practical life: the Goal of Life is to attain eternal life and avoid eternal damnation. The goal is for your soul to go to heaven or paradise, and not go to hell after your body dies. (Matthew 16:26, Luke 12:5

To attain the goal of eternal life, you need a method or plan, which is the Way. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Only Way to attain peace with God. Jesus Christ boldly tells us this.

Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.” John 3:5-21

A certain ruler asked Him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" ... Jesus looked at him and loved him, “... come, follow Me." Luke 18:18-30, Mark 10:17-31, Matthew 19:16-30

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him Who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24-27; John 5:36-40

“for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval." … For My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:26-29; John 6:37-40

Jesus answered, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish” John 10:27-30

Jesus said, “For you granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those you have given Him. Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.” John 17:1-5

Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on Him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1Tim 1: 16-17

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the specific method, plan, or means for attaining heaven and eternal life here on earth with God.
