I need to be fixed! I have pain. My life is hurting me. I need to be fixed! What is the Remedy? My Pain, the RemedyWe have all been disappointed by love. We have been terribly hurt by what people have done to us while telling us that they love us. The Answer is below... We have been abandoned by our mother or father, by our husband or wife, by our own children or grandparents, by friends and people in authority. The Answer is below... We have been betrayed by our best friend, our family members, and people whom we trusted. The Answer is below... We have been abused by mean and angry words, by physical beatings, by being hit and hurt without anyone to care, by misguided people who never loved us in the first place, and all in the name of love. The Answer is below... We have had people break their promises to us, lie to us, tell us one thing and do differently. We have had people steal from us, say lies about us, steal opportunities from us, back stab us. Sometimes they have done this while treating us nicely in front of others, and sometimes they do these things in front of everyone. The Answer is below... We have trusted many things to help us out. We have placed our hope in these things so that our lives would be better and our hearts would be mended and the deepest, innermost place in our soul would be filled with restoring and permanent love. We have trusted family, other people, pets, money, work, our own ambitions and dreams, nature, jewelry, our appearance, our recreation, our physical pleasures, and so much more... The Answer is below... And we have come up empty. We are disillusioned and even farther behind than when we got started in the first place. There is another Love that the world cannot give. It is Real and permanent. It will never leave or forsake you. It heals and restores your soul. It refreshes you when you are parched, It cheers in your successes, It encourages you when you feel like quitting, It grows you bountifully, It trims the parts of you that cause you to be sad, It guides you with your own best interest at heart. It knows no bounds, it has no equal. It is God.The Answer is LOVE. And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us.
