NeedHope.NET is dedicated to reaching the broken hearted, the unloved, the lonely, the contrite, the shattered, and the despairing with the Love of Jesus Christ, Who is the Hope of the world.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Ps 34:18

those with a "broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise", Ps 51:17

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Ps 147:3

"...with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. Isa 57:15

"This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word. Isa 66:2

For the Lord Jesus Christ, the living Word - The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Isa 61:1-3
