Problems

"i have some personal problems...."

We are glad to hear that you are aware of a need and wanting to get Christian help.  While we do not have any counselors that we personally can recommend, we have listed below web site links where you may be able to find someone to fit your personal needs in your area.  Many have counselor directories and such for your investigation.

Please know that God loves you with an Everlasting Love. He never turns away one who comes to Him truly Broken Hearted .  Jesus always invites people saying, “Come to Me and  Cast Your Cares on Me”.    A Friendship with God is vital and very specific.  God desires us to have a clean “Room”.   False Teachings are something to be aware of.  The Lord God Almighty asks us to Cast your Cares on the Lord Jesus and to ask Him to “Create in Me a pure heart”.   Taking God seriously, The Atonement , God's Laws and Consequences help give us a healthy Fear of the Lord God which produces God’s wisdom in our daily lives, helping us to rejoice in being His New Creation .

Thank you again for contacting us.  We hope that this is helpful!  "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." Num 6:24-26 NIV

"I keep hearing about a wonderful life with God." The book we recommend is the Bible and these:

Living a Life as a New Creation is very different than what you were like before.  The way you think, feel, sense, and even your personal "power" is different because you have the The Holy Spirit living inside of you now.  It is wise of you to seek understanding.  Reading good Christian books that are Biblically based helps us to grow as God's sons and daughters (1 John 3:1, John 3:3-21).

There are two books we recommend because they are simple, direct and in contemporary English with writing that is fresh and relevant.

They are both by the same author, Ryan Dobson.  The titles are -   2 Die 4   and  2 Live 4.  (Yes, they have numbers in their titles.)  You should be able to get them at a discounted price at  Christianbook.com Home.  We hope they are a blessing to you.  Please let us know if we can be of any further insight or help.  God's blessings to you!!!

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.  Col 1:9-14

"everything of mine is God's not just one tenth."

Thank you for writing to us!!  We are glad to hear of your thoughts! Thanks for referring to the law of tithing.

We agree with you in this one special way, >> “Everything of mine is God’s not just one tenth.”  “To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.”  Deuteronomy 10:14

The Bible does teach that are to offer the minimum based on Melchizedek (Genesis 14:18-20; Psalm 110:4; Hebrews 5:4-10; Hebrews 6:19-20; Hebrews 7:1-17) through whom the tithe was installed before the law was given to Moses.

Additionally, Jesus said, “23"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.  Matthew 23                and, “42"Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone. Luke 11           In both cases Jesus said, “without leaving the former undone”, referring to the tithe (Leviticus 27:30).

Furthermore, those who are saved by the atonement of Jesus Christ, trusting and believing in Him alone for salvation, are the offspring of Abraham, who gave one tenth.  “In other words, it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.”  Romans 9:8  “Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham.”   Galatians 3:7

We thoroughly agree, and emphatically try to live this: God owns all.  The Lord God Almighty is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  And by His Grace we choose to give our all to the Lord Jesus Christ, which is way more than 1/10th.

We hope that this was helpful and encouraging to you.  If you choose to write again, please know that this email address receives no mail, yet you can reach us as you did before. Thank you again for writing to us!  Have a blessed day!

Thank you for writing to us!  If you would like any prayer, please let us know what you would like God to do for you.  God wants to be involved in your life.   He already made you, and knows all about you. God wants to make us better us as we ask Him.

God tells us in His Word, the Bible  -  If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, Who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.  James 1:5

Jesus said to them, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"  Luke 11:9-13

You are a blessing to us because you wrote to us.  Thank YOU!!  God loves you more than any person can. His love is an Everlasting Love

"What do you do when you don't know what to pray for?"

Thank you for writing to us.  Please contact us again!

what do you do when you don't  know what to pray for??  Call out for help, like you have.

When your needs are so great or so different that you know they are not going to be met? Only a BIG God, which is what the Lord God Almighty IS CAN help your needs to be met.

I feel that God is so elusive that I will not recognize when He is near. While feelings are real, they do not have intellect, and are not always rational.  Please read the note beneath.

I need answers in a different way, I need answers in a concrete way. I want to recognize God in a special way today, I have so many unfulfilled needs and I don't know where my life is going or what my true purpose is. Please let me know that someone PERSONALLY read this today... thank-you  We are reading it, and responding to you!!!  Please respond back!

God is Listening to you whenever you speak.  That is a FACT.

God does See you all the time, that is a fact.

Know these Facts now, and ponder them more closely.

God is a reality, and a fact.  He does not appear or disappear with our emotion.  Psalm 139 is always true.  God is not unfaithful to His own character which is always Good.

We suggest that you read Psalm 139, listed below, slowly and carefully.  Please read it out loud so you can hear yourself.  Repeat sections if you want to (I always do!).  Think about each word that you read.  All of the words are important.

Psalm 139        1 O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.

2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.

5 You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit? (nowhere!!)  Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"

12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Now considering How God IS with you from what you just read, please list all of your needs on a sheet of paper, or type and email them to us.  This helps us to categorize and understand what is going on in our own life more clearly.            We will be happy to help you sort them out with God's Word as to "seeing" God in your life, and help to show you how you can see, hear, and sense God, and relate with Him on a daily basis.

We are hoping to help you to get answers in a concrete way so you can recognize God daily.  We understand that you do have many unfulfilled needs, and since God already knows them, and how to help you have them fulfilled, we hope to shed some understanding on this.  It is hard to know where your life is going or what your true purpose is without your Creator’s input.  We did read your note, and are responding to you PERSONALLY!  Thank you for writing to us!!

Please know that your name and identity remains confidential.  We do not contact people regarding anyone, and we will not about you.  Our only desire is to help you.  We hope to hear from you soon!!!

I cry out to God Most High, to God, Who fulfills His purpose for me.  He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me; God sends His love and His faithfulness. Ps 57:2,3
